"I've been dairy farming for thirty years but not until I happened upon Stoney Creek Shop did I come to appreciate the advantages and benefits of some of the modern technical fabrics.
In Stoney Creek Shop I have found a team of helpful staff selling specialist products designed for the out-doors person. My experience has been of back-up service second-to-none which is important when the purchases one makes are really investments in both comfort and performance."

"I've just returned from a successful wallaby hunt in South Canterbury's high country. Stoney Creek's Micro Tough Trousers (7665) not only protected my legs from the worst of the matagouri, but they lived up to their promise of not snagging or tearing.
The Shooters Jacket (4045) kept out the very cold wind, yet allowed complete freedom of movement. My latest acquisition from Stony Creek, a pair of Tasco 8x25's helped make the hunt a success. These items, along with others bought over the last year, and a prompt efficient service have convinced me that Stoney Creek is the place to get outdoor gear that works."

"Some of the first Hunting Equipment I bought some ten years ago was from Stoney Creek and I am still wearing it when ever I hunt. My son also hunts in Stoney Creek gear but unfortunately his growth will mean some new gear before it is worn out."

"I've bought a shirt, longs, rain parka and a bumbag from you over the last year and I've been very impressed with the quality of your products. Your shirt and camo pants are so light and comfortable that I often wear them at home during the evening! Fully intend to continue to support your Company".

"I've been meaning for ages to send you some feed back following your very kind offer to Mt Tiger Archers on the short sleeved micro plus blaze orange shirts that we picked up for the New Zealand Field Archery Association Bowhunter National tournament in Nov 2003.
Mt Tiger Archers Association
Firstly a massive thank you. The shirts well exceeded our expectations. Our club members really stood out at the shoot.
The three different archery courses shot were all held in a mixture of mature pine and native bush. Shoot groups consisted of 3-4 people. The blaze orange shirts were visually amazing. We could easily see where our club members were, 200-300mtrs away on the hills through the bush, while the other people in their groups remained totally invisible to the eye. The short sleeved shirt in micro plus material was warm in the cold places and breathed well in the bright sunshine - very comfortable and ideal for a field archery tournament that winds up and down hills. Our club members must have felt a bit special as they took home 21 national medals from the shoot!
My six year old son practically lives in his shirt- even wears it to school. I can see him (a bright orange speck) playing on the lawn from one and half kilometers away. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the shirt material and the camo blaze orange to anyone who wants to stand out from the rest- whether you're a hunter on your own or any club of any description that spends time outside in the NZ bush."
Once again thanks.

"Shopping here has been the most pleasant shopping experience I have had, not just online and mail order but including physically going to a shop. I had a problem with sizing for one of my purchases, the after sales service was top notch. 'Not a problem' I was told they sent me a smaller size and a courier bag to send the wrong size product back. Wow! I was impressed, one of my fears of buying online or mail order was sizing and having to send it back if wrong. I guess this is only possible for purchases in New Zealand but still this is a great service and eases my fears of any future purchases."

"Just had to write to you and tell you how much I rated your Sika Top. I just purchased one for this roar and found it to be just the ticket. Sitting well out in the open bush I was able to roar up and secure this 9 pointer stag which was great. After the usual stuff I headed for home but had left it a bit late and got caught in the dark. Not only that but I also ended up going for a swim in a bloody deep hole in a creek, submerging everything from head to toe.I spent one long cold night out but don't think I would be so happy now if I hadn't had my Sika Top on.Great clothes guys would recommend them to anybody."

I was Wallaby hunting trip this May, in the hills just outside of Kurow, in Central Otago. Had climbed up to the head of a gully, and stopped with my companion for a 10 minute break. When we started to head off again, this Wallaby leapt out from a bush less than 5m from where we had been sitting, and bounded away. My 270WSM caught him “on the hop” at approx 60m. Had my Stoney Creek blaze Cap and Vest on, along with my Day Hunter pack and Magnum Waist Bag (which contains all my communications, safety and survival gear – never leave without it).
Thanks Stoney Creek for good gear that I can rely on.
